This classis example of a late 80’s club racer was brought to us by the owner (an ex-racer) to have it restored with an intent to use it for classic track days and parade laps at the Manx TT and other classic events.

So after a full strip down the engine was the most important thing to be looked at, as we were sure it would have had a hard life. The crank was sent away to be re-conditioned and along with new pistons/rings, seals and bearings and the cases blasted, the engine was mechanically as new.

As for the chassis, a new fairing and tail piece was purchased and painted in the original colour scheme. We also managed to find a rare 18” new rear “slick” tyre and with the rest of the other parts either painted, polished or plated, the bike was completed. So, look out for this bike at the Manx TT and other classic events, as it is a real head turner!
