Kawasaki A7SS Avenger 1968

This rare ‘Street Scrambler’ was a joy to restore, it came to us as your typical US import. very standard, never been apart, just stored for a long time.

The engine was fairly straight forward as a company in the US has reproduced the conrod kits and genuine pistons are easy to get, so the usual aqua blasting, painting of the outer cases and a set of new bearings, seals and gaskets saw the power unit done,

The chassis went pretty much without issue, as again companies in the US have reproduced the discontinued rubber bits and bobs and most of the rest of the components were able to be restored. The silver grey cables are copied by Carrot Cycles in Lincoln (great guys) so with a candy red paint job and everything re-chromed it became this fabulous eye turner.
